All forgiven then? Irina Shayk and beau Cristiano Ronaldo indulge in public show of affection at style awards... just a month after sext scandal

  Just last month Cristiano Ronaldo scored an own goal as he sent X-rated texts from a fan to everyone in his address book, including his model fiancée.
But it appears that Irina Shayk has forgotten or at least forgiven the footballer for his embarassing mistake and the couple put on an armorous display at an awards ceremony last night.
It was Irina's evening to shine as she was awarded a Prix de la Moda style award at the French Embassy in Madrid.

Spanish stars turned out in force last night at the glamorous style awards ceremony hosted by the French fashion magazine Marie Claire.
The stunning model was chaperoned by her superstar footballer fiancé to the event.
She dazzled in a floor-length sequinned gown with a plunging neckline, cut out back, daring thigh-high slit and fish-tail train that showed off her perfect figure.
Her towering platform shoes seemed to pose no problem for the professional model as she was escorted into the event by the millionaire sportsman.
The Portuguese pin-up didn't look too shabby either in his slim-fitting black designer suit and tie.

Irina, who currently ranks 10th in the "Top 20 Sexiest Models" list on Models.com is also the official ambassador for lingerie brand Intimissimi.
The 25-year-old Russian born model has been dating Ronaldo, who plays for Spanish team Real Madrid, for over a year after meeting him on an Armani fashion shoot.
The couple were the star attraction of the night as they were led to their table where they laughed, touched and kissed throughout the event.

In February this year Irina and Ronaldo were reported to be engaged after he apparently jetted all the way from Spain to New York to propose to the Russian beauty on Valentine's Day.

Earlier this month the Sport Illustrated model flashed an enormous diamond ring by de Grisogono, which was impossible to hide, as her boyfriend collected his Golden Boot award at a ceremony in Madrid.
The ring stole the limelight as Ronaldo picked up the prize for his outstanding goal tally last season in the Spanish La Liga.

But despite their obvious commitment to one another Ronaldo nearly gave the relationship a red card after he forwarded texts from a Dutch fan to everyone in his phone book.
The snaps reportedly show the very attractive female fan in a variety of semi-naked poses, in some wearing a provocative tight T-shirt emblazoned with the words 'too hot to handle.'
Among the other style icons honoured at the award ceremony was British actress Tilda Swinton who arrived wearing a silk plum coloured tuxedo jacket and silk orange trousers.
A favourite with designers because of her unique style and daring fashion choices, the Chronicles of Narnia actress towered over her date, Belgian designer Haider Ackermann, in five inch platform heels.
Eccentric fashionista and heiress Daphne Guiness, who wore a ruffled collar and see through floor-length skirt, awarded a Prix de la Moda prize to the actress later in the evening.

At their table during the event, the famous couple made no effort to hide their affection for each other from the public. And as Irina stepped up to receive her award, Ronaldo looked genuinely moved.
According to a friend of the ex-Manchester United star, marriage could be on the cards very soon.
'They have been talking about marriage,' he told the paper, 'Cristiano wanted something very special and romantic and on Valentine's Day he travelled to New York to surprise Irina. He asked her to marry him.'

Ronaldo's mum Dolores wants the couple to marry in the footballer's home town of Funchal, on the Portuguese island of Madeira.
