Just seven months after enduring New Moon, we get chapter three of the popular but vacuous Twilight series. It’s also been nineteen months since that classroom of Kihei Charter School students sent this newspaper a pile of letters protesting my negative review of Twilight. I wasn’t aware of the popularity of the bestselling books the film was based on when walking into the first installment. Now I realize that I’m not just reviewing a movie, but a cultural phenomenon. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make the movies suck any less.

Although they get to play dress-up on a regular basis for work, it is being reported that Robert Pattinson is throwing a Halloween bash for his “Twilight” co-stars.
The Edward Cullen actor is said to have decided to treat the cast and crew of the latest installment of the vampire series “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” with a $60,000 fete.
“Rob’s organizing a huge soiree to celebrate Halloween, he thinks it is going to be hilarious for them all to dress up in scary costumes,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
Word has it, the 24-year-old heartthrob will be dressing as the famous blood-sucker Dracula for the Los Angeles bash.

Stewart freaked out by Twilight baby

Kristen Stewart was horrified by the robotic baby she had to work with in ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′.

The actress – who plays Bella Swann in the vampire film series – was looking forward to her alter-ego having a child with her on-screen blood-sucking lover Edward Cullen but admits the reality was somewhat different because they used an animatronic child, which was operated by a member of the crew.

Speaking of the moment Bella meets her half-vampire, half-human child, Kristen said: “In the book that was one of my favourite parts.

“But filming it, this guy’s sweating under your eye line, they get the hand up to touch your face and then it sticks to your hair and pulls a little bit.

“You’re like, ‘Ugh! Get that thing off me. Get me a baby, this is ridiculous.’ It had hair and it’s a newborn baby.”

Robert Pattinson – who plays the baby’s vampire father Edward – was also repulsed by the artificial baby as it looked like something from a horror movie.

He is quoted by the Daily Record newspaper: “It’s Chucky from ‘Child’s Play’!”

Bella and Edward’s daughter, who they name Renesmee Carlie Cullen, grows much faster than other children and Kristen admits filming with some of the child stars was tough because they were bigger than her.

The 5ft 6in beauty said: “Occasionally I couldn’t pick up the kid.”

Kristen Stewart: The Face of BALENCIAGA’s Newest Fragrance

Kristen Stewart may be laying low after wrapping her latest film “Snow White and The Huntsman” last month, but she’s certainly been busy. The 21-year-old actress recently inked a deal with Balenciaga to be the face of their newest to-be-announced fragrance! “Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” Stewart told Women’s World Daily on Thursday.
I’m glad the French fashion house has always stood out to her, because it has definitely stood out to me for her. I think this is a perfect match, and I can’t wait to see the campaign.
Stewart continued to gush about being a fan to WWD saying, “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool.”
The fragrance is set to launch this fall, and you can expect sales to sky-rocket! It doesn’t hurt that Kristen will be promoting three movies this year. Aside from the Snow White film, she has the Walter Salles directed “On The Road” and the final installment of the “Twilight” saga — “Breaking Dawn  – Part 2″.
This means plenty of opportunity for some fierce Balenciaga moments on the red carpet! It wouldn’t be the first time Kristen has worn a look by the brand.

In 2008, she wore a colorblock one-shouldered Resort 2009 dress for the Los Angeles premiere of “Twilight”. The following year, she slipped into a Nicolas Ghesquière design when she donned a top and skirt from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection for a Twi-fan event to promote the second film in the saga, “New Moon”, in Madrid, Spain.
“Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,” Ghesquière told WWD.

Kristen Stewart Signed as Face of Balenciaga Scent

Balenciaga will soon have its own place in the Twilight. The brand has signed actress Kristen Stewart as the face of the newest Balenciaga fragrance for women. 

Stewart, best known for her role as Bella Swan in the blockbuster movie saga, will represent a to-be-announced scent which is expected to be launched this fall. 

“Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” Stewart told WWD on Thursday. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquière called Stewart the muse for the new scent. “Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,” said Ghesquière. “From her early appearance in ‘Panic Room’ to her independent choice of ‘Welcome to the Rileys,’ I’ve always sensed her progressive character. In 2006, I invited her to appear in a project shot by Bruce Weber. Since then, I’ve always wished to collaborate with her further, knowing that she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.”

Added Isabelle Guichot, chief executive officer of Balenciaga: “Kristen is the perfect choice as she embodies Nicolas Ghesquière’s unique vision for the second chapter in our fragrance history.”

Charlotte Gainsbourg remains the face of Balenciaga Paris, the first scent from the house, which was launched in 2010.

“Kristen stood out as an evident choice for this new fragrance,” added Catherine Walsh, senior vice president of American fragrances for Coty Prestige, a division of Coty Inc. “She has a unique sense of style, quite original and chic in the way she mixes fashion elements. Her elegant modernity and innate rebel style perfectly match with the spirit of Balenciaga.”

Stewart noted that after a busy 2011, she’s taking a bit of time to relax. “My horizon is clear as of now (except for this!) in terms of new projects, which feels incredible,” she said. “I have finished three films I can’t wait to see come to fruition this year, ‘On The Road,’ ‘Snow White and the Huntsman,’ and ‘Breaking Dawn 2.’”

"I do not really know the brands that I wear when I first became interested in fashion. But I always knew and liked Balenciaga because it is completely in character, feminine and sexy"

Makes me wonder if she's  just saying that for sake's sake? Wouldn't we all

if we were just asked to be the face of Balenciaga? Hells yes!

But all round claps for Kristen, she must be very excited and I'm sure the

campaign will be hot as f*ck!

Dior just signed Mila Kunis to represent their Miss Dior Cherie fragrance, and now it’s Balenciaga’s turn to name a celebrity to become the face of their new scent. The Spanish fashion house recently announced “Twilight’s” Kristen Stewart would be their leading lady for their ad campaign come fall. Even though, details of the the name of the new fragrance or smell haven’t been announced, Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquière stated Stewart was the perfect choice for their yet-untitled scent.

“Radical spirit“, hey??? I wonder what that smells like. On her part, Stewart is also a big fan of the label. Along with being spotted numerous times looking gorgeous in Balenciaga on red carpets, the 21-year-old actress also revealed she’s incredibly honored, blessed and proud to be the face of the new fragrance.

Along with appearing in the fragrance’s upcoming Fall ad campaign, Stewart is scheduled to appear in two huge films in 2012. Both “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” and “Snow White & the Huntsman” are in post-production and set to hit theaters this year. As one chapter is closing for Stewart’s film career, another one is set to begin. The actress recently stated that she’s hoping the Snow White film becomes her latest movie franchise.
