Ever since Andrew Garfield was cast in the title role of the new Spiderman blockbuster, film fans have been eager for a glimpse of the British star in action.
And now they may finally have a clue as to what he will be like as Peter Parker, with the first pictures emerging from the set of the film shoot in Los Angeles.
The shots show the 27-year-old and his co-star Emma Stone enjoying a joke as they film what appears to be a romantic scene at a football stadium.
Sharing a joke: Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are currently filming the new Spiderman blockbuster
Andrew - who recently starred in The Social Network, and will soon be seen alongside Keira Knightley in Never Let Me Go - is replacing Tobey Maguire, who played the superhero in the previous three films.
Emma - who sprang to fame in the recent teen comedy Easy A - is also a cast newcomer, playing romantic interest Gwen Stacy.

The 22-year-old is taking over where Kirsten Dunst left off as Peter Parker's previous girlfriend Mary Jane Watson.
And the pair are joined by an all-star cast for the 3-D film, which will include Welsh actor Rhys Ifans as Spiderman's adversary The Lizard.
Actor Martin Sheen will star as Parker's Uncle Ben, while veteran actress Sally Field will appear as Parker's Aunt May and comedian Denis Leary is playing Gwen Stacy's father George.
Emma recently turned a few
heads when she revealed that she had reverted back to her natural blonde
hair for the role, after appearing in Easy A with red hair.
Her move back to blonde is in direct contrast to her predecessor Dunst, who dyed her naturally blonde locks red to play Mary Jane Watson in the series.
'My natural hair is blonde, so it's kind of nice,' she said recently of her new look. 'I looked in the mirror and said 'oh my God, it's me again! It's been so long!''
