Irina Shayk models four flirty frocks in 24 hours as she promotes her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

After landing the coveted cover of the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Irina Shayk is making the most of her time in the spotlight.
The girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo donned four different outfits in 24 hours while on a promotional blitz in New York this week.

The 25-year-old model arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York last night in a stunning white textured cocktail dress which she paired with nude Christian Louboutin pumps and a fur coat.
After the show she changed into a sparkling metallic short cross front dress with the same shoes and jacket - both dresses showed off her enviably long legs.

 

Earlier in the day she was spotted heading into the NBC studios for an appearance on the Today Show with Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera.
For that she donned an equally short bright orange dress with a plunging neckline paired with hot orange laced up stilettos.

During her appearance on the morning show she talked about discovering she had made the cover.
'To be on the cover of Sports Illustrated is a dream come true,' she said.

'We Russians, you know, we know all the secrets, but I didn't know I was landing on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and it was so surprising to me. I was in shock; I was crying'.
The cover, which was kept under wraps even from Irinia, was unveiled for the first time on Monday night during Late Night With David Letterman.
Irina wore a bright red satin off-the-shoulder dress with a build in black strapless bra which accentuated her curvy assets for the occasion.
She wore classic black patents Christian Louboutin stiletto pumps to finish off the look.

She was pictured laughing and wiping away tears backstage after the Letterman announced she had made the cover.
The model had initially posed for the provocative photo shoot months ago in Hawaii and the Philippines at a number of pristine beaches, accompanied by the likes of Brooklyn Decker and Kate Upton.
And she clearly made an impression on the magazine’s editor in her pink and yellow Sauvage by Elizabeth Southwood bikini to land the cover.
Irina accompanied her skimpy swimsuit with an Ettika bracelet as she accentuated her curves with an array of poses for photographer Bjorn Looss.

Irina said on the U.S Today show: ‘There were 10 models there to do (Letterman’s) Top 10 List, and nobody knows until the last minute who the cover will be… And then I saw it, and I couldn’t believe it.’
The nine other swimsuit models who appeared on the show were Anne Vyalitsyna, Julie Henderson, Kate Upton, Alyssa Miller, Chrissy Teigen, Hilary Rhoda, Genevieve Morton, Damaris Lewis and Izabel Goulart.
And there to support the model was her beau Ronaldo, who strolled into the Ed Sullivan Theater in a brown leather jacket and aviator sunglasses.
Although the latest edition marks the fifth time Irina has appeared in the magazine, she has become the first Russian cover model for Sport’s Illustrated Annual Issue.

Before the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition official unveiling on Letterman, photos of Shayk were leaked on a New York City billboard for extra publicity.

The week before the unveiling, posters of Irina, Brooklyn Decker and Anne Vyalitsyna were placed around the Big Apple to generate curiously over who would be the 2011 annual cover girl.
Irina was discovered while on a train to Moscow in 2004 and has since made a big impression on the modelling industry.
