Since losing Rooney Mara last week, and gaining rising Brit actress Kaya Scodelario (Skins, Wuthering Heights), upcoming indie Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes has been boosted into the spotlight and gained an A-list star in the process.
News has broken of Jessica Biel's involvement in the project, which focuses on a troubled 17-year-old who babysits for her new neighbour, before she discovers that infant is actually a life-like doll. The extra twist comes from the neighbours uncanny resemblance to Emanuel's dead mother.
Biel will be inhabiting the role of Linda, who is grieving the loss of her child and deluding herself with the doll. It sounds like a very interesting, if twisted, story and, by enlisting some well-known faces, is more likely to be seen.
