Guitar hero! Kristen Stewart splashes out on two rare instruments for Robert Pattinson to the tune of $12,000

 
They may have spend Christmas apart, but Twilight star   Kristen Stewart got a very special gift for her boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
The 25-year-old actress reportedly splashed out $12,000 on two rare guitars for her beau.
Kristen bought the pricy instruments from Rob's favorite guitar shop, Norman’s Rare Guitars, and visited the store two two days before Christmas, according to Us Weekly.

She reportedly picked up a 1959 Fender Jazzmaster and 1947 K&F Lap Steel.
According to the shop's owner Norman Harris, Kristen strummed on the guitars for a time before making the purchases.
And he said that she was thrilled with the buy.

'She said "He’s gonna s*** when he sees them!"' he told the publication.
A source told Us Weekly: 'Kristen knew what she was getting and the people at the store know Rob’s taste because he is a regular customer.
So everyone was happy with the results.
'Kristen and her dad were super nice and are always very, very nice people.
Not only did the actress spent a large amount of money in the store, she also posed for a picture with the staff, which they have since posted on their Facebook page.
Meanwhile Robert also splashed out on his girlfriend before leaving the U.S for London, where he spent Christmas.

He was last week spotted at L.A store, TINI - which stands for This Is Not Ikea - purchasing a vintage movie poster for his girlfriend.
The framed $75 picture, for the 1965 film I, A Woman, stars Swedish actress Essy Persson, who bares a striking resemblance to Kristen.
A source told Hollywood Life: 'Rob stayed for a little over an hour picking out Christmas gifts.
'He kept asking his friend, ‘Do you think Kristen would like this? Rob’s been at TINI’s before. He seems to get a real kick out of all the unique items.'
He apparently also purchased a letter R made out of metal ($115), an antique wooden radio ($395) and a vintage Hollywood headboard for a kingsize bed ($285).

Kristen and Robert spent thousands of miles apart this Christmas.
English-born Robert was spotted partying with his best friend's ex-girlfriend on Christmas Eve in London.
Rob and actor Tom Sturridge's former love, a woman named Nettie, looked deep in conversation at The Sun Inn, near his parents home in Barnes, southwest London.
He was barely recognisable in the crowded pub, donning a baseball cap, blue shirt and jeans.
Kristen was said to be back in Los Angeles with her parents over the break.

It is the second Christmas in a row the couple have spent apart.
Last year, Rob was spotted at a different London pub while Kristen hung out in LA with her actor friend, Garrett Hedlund.
Nettie and The Boat That Rocked actor Tom, who is now dating Sienna Miller, were together for years before splitting up just last year.
They went on several double dates with Rob and Kristen and were all spotted together at Tom's sister's wedding reception.
Rob famously refuses to talk about his relationship with Kristen, and it appears Tom lives by the same rules when it comes to his friend.

Although he was quick to praise Kristen this year after filming new movie On the Road with her.
'It was so terrifying entering into that world and what was great was just having someone that I knew and actually working with her. She's just a f****** extraordinary actress, just really, really extraordinary and it's astonishing just to see her do her job.

The movie will be released next year.
Rob and Kristen will apparently reunite soon, according to reports.
They are expected to spend New Year’s Eve with friends at Rob’s favorite hotel in West Hollywood, the Palihouse Holloway.
The past two years they’ve celebrated New Year’s on the Isle of Wight.
