Missing the LA sunshine much? Scarlett Johansson looks glum filming in rainy Scotland

Scotland is well-known for its constant wet weather, but  certainly wasn't aware of it.
The 26-year-old actress looked like she wanted to be anywhere but Scotland as she shot scenes for her latest film today.
Looking extremely miserable and cold, the U.S. star was seen wandering around the set wearing a large puffa coat and fur-trimmed boots.

Scarlett was wearing the same outfit she was pictured in last week as she filmed sci-fi horror movie Under The Skin at a petrol station in Glasgow.
Teaming a pair of unflattering stonewashed jeans with a brown fur coat and black high-heeled boots, the actress looks far from her usual glamorous (and blonde) self as she takes on the role of Laura - an alien sexual predator.
Not so glamorous now: The actress wears a brunette wig to play the alien sexual predator and also dons some unflattering stonewashed jeans

One thing's for sure though, the winter weather in coastal town Auchmithie was certainly alien to the Lost In Translation star as she barely managed to crack a smile in between takes.
Even as she stood with the film crew, Scarlett found it hard to make conversation and resorted to a nearby white van, that was obviously being used for filming, to find some much-needed warmth.
Mean and moody: The 26-year-old was either really annoyed or really good at staying in character as she took pointers from director Jonathan Glazer

However that luxury soon came to an end as she was beckoned by director of the film, Jonathan Glazer, who clearly had a few pointers for the actress.
The London-born director - who rose to fame with his revolutionary work on Radiohead’s Street Spirit music video and Jamiroquai’s Multi-MTV award-winning video for Virtual Insanity - is obviously exploring Scotland with his latest project as Scarlett's character roams around Scotland, seducing men and harvesting their body parts.

FilmNation, which is producing the film, released a statement saying that Scarlett will play 'an alien on Earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman'.
It continued: 'She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey - her voracious sexuality.'
And this is exactly what Scarlett was pictured doing over the weekend.

Back in her white van, she filmed scenes near Celtic Park Football stadium in Glasgow of her driving the vehicle looking for her next male victim.
Under The Skin is due to be released next year.
