Romance in Rio: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart share a long and very public kiss

For months they have denied a relationship and avoided being seen even holding hands.
But real-life couple Robert Pattinson and  Kristen Stewart went very public as they kissed on a busy street in Rio De Janeiro yesterday.
Although, it was all for the cameras.

The pair were spotted filming honeymoon scenes for the new Twilight Saga film, Breaking Dawn.
Leaning in and giggling, Robert, 24, sweetly kissed Kristen, 20, while her arms were flung around his neck.
Wearing a slim white sheath dress paired with a skinny black belt and black heels, the normally-casual Kristen looked elegant and grown-up, while Rob was handsome in a pale clue shirt and black slacks.

At one point British actor Rob rested a hand on Kristen's bottom in a show of familiarity.

Being in the Brazilian party capital Rio De Janeiro seems to have momentarily affected the usually-subdued and private pair.

They cheerily waved to fans from their hotel balcony earlier in the day and even performed a short dance.
They both wore sunglasses and were dressed casually with Kristen wearing denim shorts and a white vest top and Rob in a red T-shirt.

And they were clearly enjoying taking the opportunity to relax before they embarked on a night shoot in the evening.
After the kissing scene, Rob later chatted to Stewart in between takes as they filmed on a boat.

The couple looked relaxed as they waited for the cameras to roll again.
Filming on the new movie officially began last week in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is expected to continue in Vancouver.
Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series, will be broken down into two movies with the first part in cinemas next year and the second half to be released in 2012.
