She's not perfect after all... Scarlett Johansson reveals lipstick-stained teeth during Letterman interview

She's widely considered  to be one of the most beautiful women in the world.
So it came as quite a shock to see   looking less than perfect as she filmed an interview on David Letterman yesterday.
The 27-year-old actress unwittingly revealed her stained teeth, which were also covered in remnants of her bright red lipstick, as she beamed for the cameras on the US TV talk show earlier this week.

While most of the biggest stars in Hollywood are renowned for having eerily similar perfect, white teeth, years of smoking and drinking coffee has left Scarlett's teeth looking yellow and stained.
And Dr. Timothy Chase, a cosmetic dentist with 15 years of experience behind him, said in a recent interview that having 'a healthy smile, white teeth, and healthy gums can take 10 years off your appearance.'
He added: 'Brightening your appearance by creating a healthy smile is not as daunting a task as people think.
'It is an extremely important factor in ones overall health and it should not be overlooked.'

As well as the apparent staining on Scarlett's teeth, her choice retro red lipstick to match her 50's inspired hair do was perhaps not the best choice, as the actress suffered one of the most common make-up mishaps when her lipstick smeared all over her molars.
Scarlett's discoloured teeth come just months after Lindsay Lohan booked herself in for some emergency dental work after shocking fans with her stained and decaying teeth at an event in October.

But just a week later, Lohan was spotted with significantly whiter, straighter teeth.
Scarlett was appearing on Late Night With David Letterman to promote her new movie We Bought A Zoo but also spoke about the scandal which saw naked photos of her released to the world earlier this year.

She said: 'Somebody stole my nudey photos and they were out there for all the world to see. Which was unfortunate really. It was quite shocking, it was extremely creepy.
