Iin the same outfit she departed London in, the young star still managed to look effortlessly fresh despite the eight-hour flight.

The young Brit has a busy few days in New York as she is due to appear on US TV screens in a one hour Harry Potter special programme hosted by Larry King which will be aired in America on CNN at 8pm on Sunday.

Emma will also meet up with Rupert Grint, who landed in 'The Big Apple' hours before her, and the pair will then watch boy wizard co-star Daniel Radcliffe performing on Broadway.

Daniel, who is starring in 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying', flew to London for the world premiere of the final Potter movie but departed almost instantly in order to continue his role as J. Pierrepont Finch in the hit musical.
Senior bosses at Warner Bros are reportedly angry that Radcliffe has been unable to promote the final film fully despite being the leading man for the last ten years.

He was a glaring absentee from the press launch of the movie in front of 250 of the world’s media at St Pancras Station in London.
This was particularly embarrassing for ‘incandescent’ studio bosses, since everyone else from the film, including co-stars and Rupert Grint, plus Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon and Robbie Coltrane, was present.
Emma, who couldn’t help but break down in tears as she and her co-stars attended the premiere in Leicester Square, wore a pair of black Ray Ban Wayfarers, perhaps hiding the effects of the Potter after-party at Old Billingsgate Market in London.

It had certainly been a night of mixed emotions for the starlet who was seen crying and laughing throughout the evening.
As she joined her co-stars on stage to speak to the huge crowds that had gathered in Trafalgar Square to see the gang together for the final time, Emma broke down in tears as she said her thanks.
The actress, who brought the character of Hermione Granger to life on screen said: ‘It’s overwhelming to try to find the words to say what I want to say, but I have been so privileged to play this role and be a part of these films.'

‘I’ve had the most amazing 10 years of my life. Thank you so much.’
And after jetting into London for a few days to conduct interviews and to attend the premiere itself, Emma hadn’t planned to stay in the U.K. for long heading straight to Heathrow airport.
As the cast made their final premiere call at walking the red carpet from Trafalgar Square to the cinema in Leicester Square on Thursday Emma wowed the crowds in a floor-length ice blue Oscar De La Renta Gown.
