Kiss me Spidey! Andrew Garfield shares a passionate embrace with girlfriend Emma Stone... but stays upright

They're a young couple who play on-screen lovers in the new Spider-Man movie.
And the off-screen romance between Andrew Garfield, 28, and Emma Stone, 23, seems to be just as lustful.
The couple were seen sharing a very public display of affection, sharing a kiss as they strolled through the Chelsea district of New York this weekend.
But unlike the famous Spider-Man kiss between his predecessor Tobey Maguire and love-interest Kirsten Dunst - Maguire kissed her while upside down - Garfield managed to stay upright as he swept Emma off her feet.

The movie stars first hit men's store Parke and Ronen on 9th Avenue, where Mr Garfield no doubt picked up a new addition to his wardrobe.

Both wore similar three-quarter length dark coats, Emma teaming a pair of red trousers and shiny black flats with hers. Accessorising with a black and white scarf, a fedora hat and a cream handbag.
While her boyfriend matched his blue duffel coat with a pair of jeans, blue Converse-style trainers and a blue beanie hat.

Both stars appeared totally at ease with one another, walking along hand in hand with their fingers completely interlocked.
And wore big smiles on their faces and shared a few kisses before they headed a little further down to the Tipsy Parson restaurant.

Perhaps Andrew would have chosen the BLT from the Lunch Menu, which includes is made up of hand-sliced, thick-cut bacon, bibb lettuce, roasted tomatoes and sage aioli on grilled potato-onion bread.
While his girlfriend may have opted for a spinach salad which is comprised goat cheese, toasted pistachios, grilled housemade bacon and warm bacon vinaigrette.
The pair got together while filming The Amazing Spider-Man, in which Garfield takes the lead role while Emma Stone plays his love interest Gwen Stacy.

In recent stills released from the movie Emma's character appears to be at a funeral.
In the background there are several police officers which some observers believe is an indication that the funeral is for her father, police captain George Stacy, (played by Denis Leary).
Captain Stacy learned Peter Parker’s 'Spider-Man secret', but was killed by Doctor Octopus - as he lay dying, he implored Peter to take care of his daughter.
The film is due for release this summer and also stars Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
Marc Webb, who helmed (500) Days of Summer, is directing the project from a script written by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves
