Unsurprisingly, seeing as Rooney Mara is probably being inundated with offers
following her turn in David Fincher’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, the actress has opted out of starring in the upcoming Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes.
Francesca Gregorini’s quirky indie drama has now enlisted Skins and Wuthering Heights star Kaya Scodelario to replace her. The film is about a young girl who becomes obsessed with her neighbour, who bears an uncanny resemblance to her dead mother.
She agrees to baby-sit the neighbour’s child, but the infant actually turns out to be a very life-like doll. Hmmm, definitely quirky, then, but we quite like Scodelario in these parts, and are thrilled she’s getting notice
