Trailer lands for Abduction, starring tween-magnet Taylor Lautner

Taylor Lautner's in a film that isn't Twilight, and by the looks of the trailer, they've even let him wear a t-shirt for some of it.
With the Twilight Saga wrapping up, now’s the time for Peccy McWashboardAbs (or Taylor Lautner to use his stage name) to break out of the wolf pack and forge a career. Action thriller Abduction, out in September, might not be a bad way to get started by the looks of things.

Taking the lead in a running, jumping and kicking picture
like this one puts 19-year-old Lautner (oy, I’ve got mascara older than him) in a strong position for future action hero status. Not bad going for the former Mouseketeer who was voicing Scooby-Doo characters not too many years back.

Abduction, also starring Jason Isaacs, Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver and , looks like a Bourne-y affair, with one or two smacks of this year’s Hanna for good measure. Lautner’s character realises his life has been a sham and goes off on an exciting, violence-fuelled mission to find out his true identity.
Directed by action-director John Singleton, Abduction comes out in the UK on the 28th of September. Watch the trailer below.
